As part of our Engineering Drafting class, we're designing and building a 1/4 scale RC car.  Our initial design is based on a RACO JacRabbit that was found in our Middle School.  It was originally purchased in the early 90's and doesn't run. Our goal is to build four functional 1/4 scale cars that can be manufactured with readily available (thus affordable) parts or parts we can create in other shop classes like welding and machining.

We'll be using Autodesk Inventor to create the designs. This is our first attempt at anything like this, so we welcome any and all input.  If you would like to become part of the project, please let us know.
